Whitehall Boats For Sale

freedom of the Russian Masters

Saturday trip to Como to see the exhibition "Masters of the Russian" held at Villa Olmo.

on posters prominently displayed in the exhibition are three of the artists whose works are on display: Chagall, Kandinsky and Malevich some who genuinely have never heard of.

The first two, however, are sufficient to attract our attention, and then after having lunch in a nice restaurant in the center is excellent and we head towards Como Villa Olmo.

A little 'tail but not overdone, and we go in, do we head for the entrance tickets and where before we are obliged to do leave the bag in the wardrobe and then make us go through the metal detector like at the airport! However

finally enters, the first rooms are dedicated to Chagall, there is a panel with the biography of the artist but it is written so small that you have placed at 50 cm to read it, nobbuono!

Another glaring flaw: the signs of the various works do not mention the source!

Good lighting system instead.

continue, starting with rooms devoted to Kandinsky, well, we almost came on purpose, but ....... all?

There will be 5 or 6 pictures and nothing particularly well known, I understand, has been used as name "owl" to attract people!

Then the works of Malevich, who is for us to discover an artist, we like.

We think the show is over but we go into another room where other works are on display.

read the biography with the usual panel to find out who it is: Pavel Filonov, never heard of, let's see.

Be ', this poor devil of Pavel, who was virtually unknown until the time of Gorbachev's perestroika in 1941 and died of starvation and even mentioned in the posters is a real revelation.

This image is called "the feast of kings" and is disturbing to say the least.
